Follow these steps to become a participant at the Sunsets at Pier 60 Festival and the Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival in April.
- Step 1 - Participant Application: Artisans will need to provide images of their raw materials with receipts, work in progress, and an image of the finished craft/art. Buskers and entertainers will need to provide a brief description of your talent along with one image of a past performance.
- Step 2 - Application Review: Your application will be reviewed by event management. A representative of the festival will contact you regarding the status of your application. Additional information and/or an in-person jury appointment may be required. Please be aware that these procedures are in place to ensure that all items are hand crafted by the participating artist and for the purpose of providing a variety of art offerings to festival guests.
- Step 3 - Registration Cost: The following fees will apply: Upon your acceptance a registration fee of $70.00 will be due. This fee includes one $35.00 background screening. If more then one screening is needed with your application, additional fees will be applied. This background screening is a requirement for participation by the city of Clearwater. If for any reason you are denied participation due to the results of your background screening, no refunds will be issued.
Other important information:
NIGHTLY ARTIST FEES ARE $22.00 PER EVENING. CURRENTLY THERE ARE NO NIGHTLY FEES FOR BUSKERS.
Some artisan categories may be closed due to multiple participants.
The following categories are prohibited:
- Food items
- Tobacco products
- Psychics and tarot card readers.
Sunsets at Pier 60 reserves the right to refuse an artist participation based on what is in the best interest of the organization.
